Introduction to Himachal Pradesh Medha Protsahan Yojana 2024
The Himachal Pradesh government launched the Medha Protsahan Yojana in 2024 to provide financial assistance to economically weaker students in the state. Under this scheme, the government offers ₹1 lakh to students who have passed class 12 for coaching in various competitive exams such as JEE, NEET, FMC, NDA, CLAT, UPSC, SSC, Banking/Insurance, and Railway exams.

Through this scheme, the government will select 350 intermediate-level students and 150 graduates based on merit for coaching in recognized institutions within and outside the state. Applications for the academic session 2024-25 are open, and students can apply until November 25, 2024. Eligibility Criteria

- For graduate-level students: General category students need 50% marks, and reserved category students need at least 45%.
